मैं कविता, जो सारी परेशानियों को अपने अंदर समेटे ज़िन्दगी की दौर में आगे बढ़ना चाहती है| मैं सबूत में बिश्वास रखती हूँ| जो दिखाई न दे वो झूट है- ऐसा मानती थी मैं|मुझे रेस हारना बिलकुल पसंद नहीं| मै अपनी सारी मेहनत लगा देती हूँ जितने के लिए|
एक दिन कुछ ऐसा हुआ जिसने मेरी सोच बदल दी|
मैं अपने कमरे में थी (मैं अकेले अपने एक कमरे वाले फ्लैट में रहती हूँ)| सारे दिन के थकान के बाद मैं लेट गयी और मेरी आँख लग गयी| थोड़े समय बाद जैसे ही मैंने अपनी आँखे खोली- मैंने वो देखा और महसूस किया जो पहले कभी नहीं किया था| मेरी आँखे एक जगह थम सी गयी थी| चिल्लाना कहती थी मगर कुछ कह नहीं पा रही थी| ऐसा लग रहा था मानो मेरे होंठ आपस में चिपक गए हो|
मैंने एक आदमी को देखा, बहुत ही डरावना| वो मेरी ओर देख रहा था और धीरे धीरे अपने हांथो से मेरा गला दबाने की कोशिश कर रहा था| अपने बचाव में मैं अपने हांथो से उस आदमी को रोकना चाहती थी लेकिन मेरे होंठो की तरह ही मेरे हाँथ भी चिपक गए थे| ऐसा लग रहा था मानो मैं अपने बचाव में अपनी खुद की मदद नहीं कर पा रही थी| मैंने अपने पैरो को भी हिलाने की कोशिश की पर असफल रही| लेकिन मैंने हार नहीं माना मैं भी कोशिश करती रही| ये कितना कठिन था शायद मैं आपको शब्दो में बयां न कर पाऊं| उस आदमी के हांथ अब मेरे गले के एकदम नजदीक थे| ये देख मैं और दर गई| मैंने पूरी कोशिश की चिल्लाने की हांथ पैर हिलाने की पर नाकामयाब रही| ें सब में अगर कुछ नहीं रुके तो वो आंशू| उस आदमी ने मेरा गला दबा दिया| मैं मर जाऊंगी अब ऐसा महसूस होने लगा| पर फिर भी मैंने हार न मानी| अंदर से मैं बहुत डरी हुई थी| क्योकि हारना मैंने कभी नहीं सीखा है इसलिए मैं कोशिश करती रही हांथ पैर हिलाने की चिल्लाने की| एक तरफ़ उस आदमी ने मेरा गला दबा रखा था और दूसरी तरफ मैं अपने आप को बचने की पूरी कोशिश कर रही थी| बहुत कोशिशों के बाद मैंने अपने हाँथो की उँगलियों को हिलाने में सफ़ल रही| ये देख मेरे अंदर और जोश आया| फिर मैंने अपनी कोशिश दुगनी कर दी| एक तरफ वो आदमी मुझे मारने की पूरी कोशिश कर रहा था| वंही दूसरी तरफ मैं बचने की पूरी कोशिश कर रही थी| बहुत कोशिशों के बाद मैं अपनी पैरों की उंगलिया हिलाने में सफल रही| और धीरे ढेरी मैंने अपना हांथ हिलाया और उस आदमी को ज़ोर से धक्का दिया और उठ के बैठ गयी| जैसे ही मैंने अपनी आंखे खोली मैंने देखा सब कुछ नार्मल है| जैसे यंहा कुछ हुआ ही नहीं है| तब मुझे एह्सांस हुआ की ये मेरा सपना था| मेरे साथ जो भी हुआ मैंने जो भी किया वो सब एक सपना था? एक ऐसा सपना जिसको मैंने थोड़ी देर पहले जिया था एक हकीकत की तरह? अगर मेरी आँखे न खुलती तो मैंने इस सपने को सच मान लिया था| वो सपना जरूर था पर उस पल को मैं अभी भी महसूस कर सकती हूँ| उस दिन मुझे ये एहसास हुआ - जो हम महसूस करते है वो भी सत्य है| हमारे मन का भर्म नहीं|

It was so difficult that I might not be able to tell you in words. The man's hands were now very close to my neck. Seeing this, I moved further. I tried my hand best to shout and failed to move. If you do not stop at all, then that tears. That man strangled me. I will die now I feel like this. But still, I did not give up. I was very scared inside. Because I have never learned to lose, so I kept trying to shout my hand. On the one hand, the man had strangled me and on the other side, I was trying my best to save myself.
